Goal
What is the GOAL of the assignment? What will you be learning as you work on it? You are Getting to Know Characters. On the first resource page for this skill, you will find learning goals.
Role
What is your ROLE in the problem? Who are you? What are you to do? You are a biographer. "Unauthorized biographies" are usually marketed with that phrase as a way of saying they are more than just rosy portraits of their subjects.
Situation
What is the SITUATION in which you find yourself? Describe as much as you know.
Product or Performance
What is the PRODUCT of your work to be? The problem mentions two things: finding multiple characteristics about Peter and writing part of a chapter on one characteristic. The product is the chapter pages.
Standards
What are the STANDARDS by which your work will be judged? Here is the rubric I use in my classes. As you meet the problem, try to relate these general standards to the specific Goal, Role, Situation and Product of this problem.

What do you know? What do you need to know?

What stories do you remember about Peter? If you do not know where those stories are in the gospels, how might you find them?

State the problem.

Put the problem in your own words.
